Hunting In the Oak Forest (Open)

A Long haired she-cat narrowed her crysal eyes towards the mouse she was stalking. her tail tip move back and forth impatiently waiting for the mouse to come out at the right angle at the right moment. It Scurried farther away and out of sight and Azurestorm lashed her tail in aggravation."Fox-dung!" she growled silently as she sat down at the edge of a deep pool of water right near where the mouse was just sitting. She stared into the depths, remembering fight in deep water like this. Her fur along her spine pricked leaving her paralyzed in fear and wide open for ambush.

A wiry she-cat slipped through the foilage and forest silently and skillfully, not even upsetting a leaf as she stalked forward. Closer and closer the she-cat crept, sun filtering through the trees and spotting her thick gray fur with light. She grew closer to the she-cat crouched by the water, who was sitting quite rigidly, lost in thought she'd guessed.

At a couple tail lengths away, the she-cat gracefully springed up, covering a wide gap of land. Ashwing was normally clumsy, but this time she landed right beside the cat, putting a paw on Azurestorm's shoulder and shoving her playfully. "Hey! Whatcha doing?"

AzureStorm, Not expecting another cat to come by and to get shoved lost her balance from her sitting position near the water and fell in. the cold water shocked her and chilled her bones. Memories flooded in to the tiny Onyx She-Cat like the ripples over head. A Pushing weight on her shoulders and a evil face of a nameless cat. The little cats head broke the surface of the water with her paws fiercely paddling the surface. Bringing out her inner swimming skills and made her way to the side. Thinking of a quick answer to the gray cats question, she mewed," falling"

The she-cats ear twitched a little and she scratched it as she watched Azurestorm fall, struggle, and then swim out. When the she-cat was on dry land again, Ashwing trotted over to her. "Oh! Sorry I didn't mean to push you in. Just to like ... surprise you... Did it work?", Ashwing was known to be talkitive and occasionally annoying. She continued talking. "Well, I bet the water felt good; it's really hot lately! Don't you think?", Ashwing took a deep breath, shook her pelt, and then sat back on her haunches.

"Yeah, You could say it worked. I'm Sopping wet!" Azurestorm Grinned up at the lean ashy She-cat. "The water Felt good, It actually Wasn't As deep as i thought.Ashwing Right?" she asked. The little She Cat was never too good with names and remembering them. She fluffed out her sopping wet tail spraying Little droplets of water every where and a few landed on Ashwing's muzzle and nose. "Got something right there," she said dabbing at her own nose and muzzle as her tail lay flat once again.

"Ashwing", the warrior repeated with a smile, licking on of the water droplets from her own nose. "And your Azurestorm?", Ashwing filled in. She was the outgoing type, so she just knew these things. "So are you out here to swim, think, or actually hunt?"
